SIKESTON, Mo. -- Pamela LaTonya King, 19, of Sikeston died Thursday, May 22, 2003, of injuries received in an automobile accident in Arkansas. She was born March 26, 1984, in Sikeston, daughter of Michael and Janet Lavine. King was a 2002 graduate of Sikeston High School, and was a sophomore at the University of Arkansas-Jonesboro. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Pamela LaTonya King, 19, of Sikeston died Thursday, May 22, 2003, of injuries received in an automobile accident in Arkansas.

She was born March 26, 1984, in Sikeston, daughter of Michael and Janet Lavine.

King was a 2002 graduate of Sikeston High School, and was a sophomore at the University of Arkansas-Jonesboro. She was a member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her parents of Sikeston; a sister, Jennifer Farmer of Little Rock, Ark.; and paternal grandmother, Shealia Childress of Scott, Ark.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at West End Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Fuller Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
