CHARLESTON -- Ozark Dixon, 94, of Charleston, died Tuesday, April 21, 1992, at Bertrand Nursing Center.
He was born March 10, 1898, at Bellmont, son of Will and Callie Lewis Dixon.
Dixon was a retired farmer, and member of Opportunity Church of God In Christ.
Survivors include six sons, William Dixon of Cape Girardeau, Harry Dixon of Milwaukee, Wis., Herbert Dixon of Saginaw, Mich., Robert Dixon of Baltimore, Md., Eugene and Howard Dixon of Chicago; four daughters, Dorothy Smith and Callie Rivers of Charleston, Rosemary Smith of Chicago, Pauline Silverado of Danville, Ill.; a brother, Ollie Dixon of Charleston; 53 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Opportunity Church. Pastor A. Trofort will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. today.
