JACKSON -- Otto W. Kranawetter, 86, of Jackson died Monday, Aug. 2, 1999, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 6, 1913, at Pocahontas, son of Martin and Martha Walther Kranawetter. He and Violet A. Rubel were married Dec. 31, 1939, in St. Louis. She died Dec. 5, 1992.
Kranawetter and his brother founded and operated Jackson Implement Co. many years. He was a lifelong farmer, and member of Zion Lutheran Church at Gordonville.
Survivors include three sons, Ervin Kranawetter of Pocahontas, Roy Kranawetter of Jackson, Robert Kranawetter of Gordonville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Wayne Schweisow will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Church Cemetery.
