OTTO G. BOHNERT

LONGTOWN -- Otto G. Bohnert, 83, of Longtown died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, at the Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born May 25, 1908, in Uniontown, the son of Andrew and Annie Dambach Bohnert. On Nov. 5, 1939, he married Edna Paula Tanz, who survives of the home.

He was retired from the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department, where he worked as a maintenance equipment operator. He also was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown.

Other survivors include two sons, Ray O. Bohnert of Perryville and Lloyd H. "Herb" Bohnert of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Eugene Bohnert of Perryville; two sisters, Sophie Mehner and Hulda Davis, both of Perryville; five grandchilren; and three great-grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, a half-brother, and two half-sisters.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, where the body will rest in state until 11 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
