SIKESTON -- Othel R. Noyes, 85, of Sikeston, died Sunday, April 12, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1906, in New Madrid County, son of Matthew G. and Ada Mainord Brooks. She married Oliver S. Noyes Jan. 15, 1926, near Crowe. He died April 7, 1982...

SIKESTON -- Othel R. Noyes, 85, of Sikeston, died Sunday, April 12, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 27, 1906, in New Madrid County, son of Matthew G. and Ada Mainord Brooks. She married Oliver S. Noyes Jan. 15, 1926, near Crowe. He died April 7, 1982.

Noyes was a member of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons, David Noyes of Sikeston, Charles Noyes of Kirksville; a daughter, Alean Smith of Sikeston; a brother, Wayne Brooks of Portageville; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Dick Mainord and Kelly Grubbs will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
