ALTENBURG -- Oswald F. Leimbach, 84, formerly of Altenburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1992, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 12, 1907, in Perry County, son of Henry and Emma Holschen Leimbach. He married Flora Lueders Aug. 12, 1934, who died Nov. 9, 1955. He later married Cordia Winters June 15, 1957, who died March 31, 1977.
Leimbach was a retired trimmer and operator at East Perry Lumber Co., and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Werner of California state; two sons, Russell Leimbach of Altenburg, Gary Leimbach of California; a brother, Eddie Leimbach of St. Louis; two sisters, Hilda Steffens and Edna Christofferson of Sydney, Neb.; 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, two brothers, a sister and grandson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Paul Lohnes will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel 5-9 p.m. Friday, and 6:30-8 a.m. Saturday.
