ADVANCE -- Oscar Moore, 87, of Advance, died Monday, Feb. 8, 1993, at Advance Nursing Care Center.
He was born March 29, 1905, at Bessville, son of Miles and Mary Francis Long Moore. He and Elvia Leona Flowers were married March 12, 1937, at Jackson.
Moore retired from G.W. Gladders Towing Co. in St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gerald Moore of Waskom, Texas, Michael Moore of East Prairie; three daughters, Judy Kucera of Jackson, Sharon Clark of Hobbs, N.M., Janice Payne of Waskom; a sister, Hazel Daniel of Advance; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Tony Badami and Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
