OAK RIDGE -- Oscar H. Mangels, 78, of Oak Ridge died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993 at his home.
He was born May 6, 1914 at Frohna, the son of Henry and Alma Koenig Mangels.
He married the former Dellia Ruesler on Jan. 27, 1935 at Jackson. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Charles Mangels, Oak Ridge; three sisters Leona Ponder, Mabel Aufdenburg, and Ruby Abbott, all of Jackson; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
Mangels had farmed the family farm in Oak Ridge until his retirement. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church at Old Appleton.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Lloyd Bollinger and Robert Eisenhower officiating. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
