ULLIN, Ill. -- Oscar Harland Gaskill, 87, Ullin Route 1, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at Hillside Terrace Nursing Home in Cobden. He was born Oct. 8, 1904, in Illinois, son of H.L. and Arminta LeMay Gaskill. He married Myra Mayberry, who died July 12, 1987...

ULLIN, Ill. -- Oscar Harland Gaskill, 87, Ullin Route 1, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at Hillside Terrace Nursing Home in Cobden.

He was born Oct. 8, 1904, in Illinois, son of H.L. and Arminta LeMay Gaskill. He married Myra Mayberry, who died July 12, 1987.

Gaskill was a retired farmer.

Survivors include four brothers, Morton Gaskill of O'Fallon, Don and James Gaskill of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Von Gaskill of Molalla, Ore.; six sisters, Sylvia Kee of Anna, Jewell Price of Central Point, Ore., Naomi Severs of Sullivan, Ind., Ruby Brust of Brookville, Fla., Patsy Britt of Ullin, and Mary Gibbs of Las Vegas, Nev.

He was preceded in death by five brothers.

Jones Funeral Home at Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
