MARBLE HILL -- Oscar John Graul, 77, Marble Hill Route 1, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 1997, at Bond Nursing Care Center.
He was born March 21, 1919, in Evansville, Ind., son of Philip and Elizabeth Schroeder Graul. He married the former Virginia Penn.
Graul was a painting contractor. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1936-45.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Leland Graul of Barrington, Ill., Randolph Graul of Schickshinny, Pa.; a daughter, Heidi Godwin of Allenville; a sister, Edna Wood of Evansville; five stepsons, James and Michael Sayers, John, Tim and Rob Edwards; two stepdaughters, Nancy Cook and Janine Broach; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
