ORAL JOHNSON

Funeral service for Oral Eugene Johnson of Pekin, Ill., formerly of Cape Girardeau, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, Ill. The Rev. Tim Nolan will officiate, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Peoria.

Johnson, 65, died Monday, June 24, 1996, at his home.

He was born May 5, 1931, in Missouri, son of Oral R. and Hazel Johnson. He and Darlene A. Kamin were married Oct. 15, 1955, in Peoria. She died Aug. 4, 1976.

Johnson was a warehouseman at Amerhart Ltd. in Peoria, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Moose Lodge 916.

Survivors include two sons, Marty Johnson of Pekin, Ray Johnson of North Pekin; a brother, James Johnson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Delores Tackett of Jackson, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
