ANNISTON, Mo. -- Ora "Edith" Ivie, 59, of Savannah, Ga., died Thursday, April 26, 2001, at her home.

She was born April 24, 1942, at Hornersville, Mo., daughter of Charles and Edna Dalton Thurman.

Ivie was a cosmetologist and owned a lounge in Savannah.

Survivors include a son, James Kunce of Savannah; a daughter, Tracy McDurman of Savannah; three sisters, Doris Graham and Pat Stark of Springfield, Mo., Sally Cox of Charleston, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo., from 4-6 p.m. Thursday.

Graveside service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Anniston Cemetery, with John Stark officiating.
