OPAL LEWIS

ADVANCE -- Opal R. Lewis, 82, of Lindale, Texas, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

She was born Dec. 22, 1913, in Advance, daughter of Jim and Nealy Stroup Richmond. She married Dean E. Lewis.

Lewis was a member of Advance United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ben Lewis of Lindale; a brother, Leon Richmond of Advance; two grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance, with the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating.
