Opal L. Sparks, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 13, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Aug. 8, 1926 at Old Appleton, the daughter of Ray and Josie Schreiner Myers. She married Donald Sparks on Sept. 15, 1946 in Cape. He preceded her in death March 6, 1986...
Opal L. Sparks, 65, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 13, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 8, 1926 at Old Appleton, the daughter of Ray and Josie Schreiner Myers.
She married Donald Sparks on Sept. 15, 1946 in Cape. He preceded her in death March 6, 1986.

She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Pierceall, St. Louis, Donna Siegenthaler, Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Lester Myers, Cape Girardeau, Dean Myers, Ste. Genevieve; and five grandchildren.
She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Kopf Circle, United Methodist Women, St. Mark's Order of Eastern Star, and the Scottish Rite Women's Club.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friend may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Eastern Star services will be held at 7:30 p.m.
