ORAN, Mo. -- Opal Irene Cook, 90, of Oran died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 6, 1912, at Blodgett, Mo., daughter of Oda and Zora Dell Wagoner Felty. She and Albert James Cook were married Jan. 16, 1938. He died July 6, 1993...

ORAN, Mo. -- Opal Irene Cook, 90, of Oran died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 6, 1912, at Blodgett, Mo., daughter of Oda and Zora Dell Wagoner Felty. She and Albert James Cook were married Jan. 16, 1938. He died July 6, 1993.

Cook was a shipping clerk at Oran Hat Factory. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Rosa Dillow of Sugarland, Texas; two sisters, Gloria Weinberger of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Zella Story of Warner Robins, Ga.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Mo.
