CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Ona Mae Edwards, 87, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at her home.
She was born Nov. 19, 1928, in Gordonville to the late William and Ada Schrader. She married Charles O. Edwards on Jan. 25, 1946, and he preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1985.
Ona Mae retired as a home health-care worker with American Home Care in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include five daughters, Virginia Cotner of Jackson, Ruby Smith of Florence, Alabama, Margaret Broughton and Charlotte Tilley, both of Chaffee, and Ruby Ann Edwards of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband and a son.
Friends may call from noon until time of service Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jared Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
