JONESBORO, Ill. -- Oma M. Treece, 82, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, Ill.
She was born April 8, 1924, in Reynoldsville, Ill., daughter of Harvey and Mae Jackson Wilson. She and Charles E. Treece were married July 2, 1949, in Union County. He died Jan. 20, 1986.
Treece was retired from Union County Hospital. She was a member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Candace Karraker of Carterville, Ill.; two sons, Scott Treece of Jonesboro, Patrick Treece of Dongola, Ill.; two sisters, Frances Meisenheimer and Violet Boyd of Jonesboro; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pete Vinson officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
