Ollie Mae "Mrs. Sweet" Lee, 87, of 304 Mill St., died Sunday, May 25, 1997, at St. Frances Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 10, 1910, in Marianna, Ark., to Sam and Viola Hensley.

She was a domestic worker.

She belonged to St. James A.M.E. Church where she was a member of the usher board. She also was a member of the Golden Age Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include her husband, Harry H. Lee; a nephew whom she raised, Nathaniel Mack of St. Louis; two nieces whom she raised, Brenda Davis of St. Louis and Choice B. Fuller of San Diego.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Thursday to the start of the funeral. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. James A.M.E. Church with the Rev. David Allen officiating. Interment will be in New Lorimier Cemetery.

L.R. Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of the arrangements.
