EAST PRAIRIE -- Ollie Leon Bryan of East Prairie died Sunday, May 10, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was 60.

He was born June 5, 1937, in Coal Hill, Ark., son of the William J. and Viola L. Howe Bryan. They preceded him in death.

He married Lena Ashley Laydecker in 1968. She died March 19, 1984.

He was a retired farmer who lived in East Prairie most of his life.

He is survived by a brother, David Bryan of Greenfield, Tenn.; and two sisters, Ruth Morgan of East Prairie and Mary Knight of Paducah, Ky.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call after noon today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with graveside services to follow at 3 o'clock at the Dogwood Cemetery with Brother Burl Britt officiating.
