SCOTT CITY -- Ollie Edgar Hensley, 85, of Scott City, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1991, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 17, 1906, in Tolu, Ky., son of John Harvey and Susan Elizabeth Burns Hensley. He and Mabel Hazel Jobe were married Jan. 28, 1925, at Benton. She died Sept. 28, 1988.
Hensley worked 25 years at Marquette Cement Co. and Gulf and Western in Cape Girardeau. He was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church here, and member of Union Local 164 in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include three sons, Charles and Bob Hensley of Scott City, Don Hensley of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Gladys Baker of Scott City; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters and a grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until time of service.
