JACKSON, Mo. -- Olga Anna Bertha Zeller, 88, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girar-deau. She was born May 12, 1913, in Jackson, daughter of William and Emma Maevers Birk. She and Edward Zeller were married Aug. 27, 1932. He passed away Jan. 11,1996...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Olga Anna Bertha Zeller, 88, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girar-deau.

She was born May 12, 1913, in Jackson, daughter of William and Emma Maevers Birk. She and Edward Zeller were married Aug. 27, 1932. He passed away Jan. 11,1996.

Mrs. Zeller was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her priority, her pride and joy ... her life. Naturally, her love and affection were treasured and returned by her loyal family.

She was a 55-year member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit, Mo., where she was a former member of the Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and the Altar Guild. She was also an avid quilter and gardener.

Loving survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Mary Zeller of Jackson; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Shirley and Freeman Sebastian of Jackson, Marilyn Zeller, Judy and Tim Westrich and Brenda and John Christensen, all of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-stepgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today, and after 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Don Reder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Randy Sebastian, Gregg Zeller, Kyle Barks, Calen Wills, Tony Jesse, and Jerry McCullough.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery Fund or the Altar Guild.
