ESSEX -- Ola Mae Hupp, 78, of Essex died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born April 18, 1920, in Center Ridge, Ark., daughter of Alonzo and Edith Coleman Anderson. She and Elmer Hupp were married Sept. 3, 1937, in Piggott, Ark. He died in 1992.
Hupp had been a nursing home dietary aide, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Essex. She lived in Poplar Bluff many years, moving to Essex five years ago.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Brewer of Searcy, Ark., Ruth Carpenter of Bozeman, Mont., Barbara Thomas of Ranchos de Taos, N.M.; a son, James Hupp; a brother, Edward Anderson of Burson, Calif.; a sister, Rebecca Anderson of Burson; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two children.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Herman Morse officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery near Essex.
