PATTON -- Odell E. Walker, 73, of Patton, died Saturday, Sept. 18, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born at Bernie on Dec. 5, 1919, son of Cager M. and Nettie Skinner Walker. He married Vallie Powell of Patton on May 15, 1945. She survives...

PATTON -- Odell E. Walker, 73, of Patton, died Saturday, Sept. 18, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born at Bernie on Dec. 5, 1919, son of Cager M. and Nettie Skinner Walker.

He married Vallie Powell of Patton on May 15, 1945. She survives.

Other survivors include daughters, Barbara Graham, of Farmington and Betty Yount of Patton; and grandsons.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.

He was a retired punch-press operator for Superior Electric.

Service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with the Rev. Charles Wilfong officiating. Burial will be in Whitener Cemetery at Marquand.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
