MOUNDS, Ill - Nota Mae Miller, 94, of Mounds, died Friday, Jan. 14, at the Meridian Manor Nursing Home in Mounds.

Miller was born Nov. 7 1899, in Mound City, to E. Otto and Coral Leischner Edwards.

She married Ray Miller, who preceded her in death in 1962.

Survivors include one daughter, Mildred Powers of Mounds; two sons, Ray D. Miller of Villa Ridge and Jimmy D. Miller of Mounds; four brothers, Oscar Edwards of Mound City, Emery Edwards of Memphis, Tenn., Alfred Edwards of Little Rock, Ark., and Lawrence Edwards of Selma, Ala. Ten grandchildren and six great grand children also survive.

Miller was a retired caseworker for the Illinois Department of Public Aid, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mounds.

Friends may call after 9 a.m., today, at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., today, at the funeral home in Mounds, with the Rev. F. Jerry Herring officiating. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
