EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- Norvel Joe Green, 56, of East Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 25, 2005, at his home.

He was born Dec. 8, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of Norvel and Mary Marie Staples Green. He and Ruth Ann Mansker were married Dec. 8, 1970.

Mr. Green worked for Cotner-Green Electric Co.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Randy (Lisa) Green of Cape Girardeau, Steven (Autumn) Green of Tamms, Ill.; two daughters, Crystal (Brian) Andrews and Vaniasn (Mike) Green of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren, Lindsey, Lorey, Persephine, Allisyn, Ashlee, Jamie, Angel, Jordan, Breanna and Michael; two sisters, Jan (Ron) Tuschhoff of Cape Girardeau, and Becky (Tim) Stone of Jackson.

Mr. Green is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, with service at 3 p.m. The Rev. Jim Sanderson will officiate. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
