CHARLOTTE, N.C. Norman L. Gardiner, 60 years old, of Charlotte, N.C., and a native of Advance, Mo. died Thursday, Dec. 27, 1990 in Charlotte.
He was born in Advance Mar. 31, 1930, son of Guy and Grace Pixley Gardiner.
He worked as a division controller for the Rexham Corp. at Charlotte.
He served in the Navy.
He married Shirley Jones of Chaffee. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Scott Gardiner, of Charlotte; a daughter, Laurie Fagan of Charlotte; and five grandchildren.
He was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte. He was a member of the Jim Wiley Sunday Class, and also a member of the Board of Directors of the Providence Day School. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Friends may call at the Harry-Bryant Funeral Home in Charlotte today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Providence Baptist Church in Charlotte, with Dr. W. Henry Crouch officiating, assisted by Rev. Bill Andrews. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte.
