Norman Leo Horrell, 56, of Newburg, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur, Mo., following an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 16, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of Leo and Ann Wubker Horrell. He married the former Nancy Kay Stahlschmidt.
Horrell was employed by Federal Protection Inc. of Springfield, Mo.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Thad Horrell of Columbia, Mo., Kaed Horrell of Cape Girardeau; his parents of Glennon, Mo.; six sisters, Bernice Springer and Judy Sander of Jackson, Shirley Schott of Millersville, Gladys Hency of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Engelen of Leopold, Mo., Kateri Ruch of Daisy; three brothers, Aaron Horrell of Chaffee, Mo., Dennis and Joseph Horrell of Glennon; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Buchholz Mortuary West in Chesterfield, Mo., from 2 to 8 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7.
The funeral and burial will be in Glennon at a later date.
