ROCKVIEW, Mo. -- Norman S. Gribler, 66, of Rockview died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at his home. ROCKVIEW, Mo. -- Norman S. Gribler, 66, of Rockview died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at his home.

Gribler was born November 19, 1940 in McGee, Mo., to the late William Steward and Dolly Lucille McKnight Gribler.

Gribler was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and worked in the tools section at Lowes in Cape Girardeau.

He was a member of the New Hope Apostolic Church in Chaffee, Mo.

He was a 32nd-degree mason with the Chaffee Masonic Lodge No. 615 AF&AM.

He married Carol L. Crowden on December 23, 1961, and she survives.

Also surviving Gribler are a daughter Stephanie Wiley, of Chaffee, Mo., a son, Kevin S. Gribler, of Rockview, Mo., a brother, Herman "Bob" Gribler, of Jackson, and a sister, Rebecca Moore, of Jackson, Mo., and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, followed by a Masonic service at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral chapel with the Rev. C.B. Stidham and Rev. Stephen Niswonger officiating.

Graveside service will be at noon Wednesday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
