Norman Leon Busby, 83, of Millersville passed away Oct. 2, 2014, at his home.
He was born March 14, 1931, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, son of Daniel Mack Homer and Cora Marie Woodard Busby. He and Anna Lois Frazier were united in marriage Nov. 28, 1952, and she passed away Dec. 22, 2012.
Mr. Busby worked in construction for the telephone company and at Lee Rowan as foreman in the paint department, and loved working with and riding horses.
Survivors include daughters Diane (Charles) Randolph of Cape Girardeau and Donna (Walter) Biri of Jackson; brothers Raymond Busby of Perryville, Missouri, Homer Busby of Harrison, Arkansas, and Farrell Busby of St. Louis; sisters Geneva Carrol of St. Louis, Maxine Speciale of Troy, Missouri, and Ruth Tinker of Perryville; five grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother and a great-granddaughter, Grace Katherine Gerhardt.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Casey Elmore officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
