ANNA, Ill. -- Norman L. Boyd Sr., 93, of Anna died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Jonesboro Health Care Center in Jonesboro, Ill.
He was born Aug. 8, 1908, at Wickliffe, Ky., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd.
He was married to Katherine Fralick 52 years ago.
Boyd was a retired farmer, an ironworker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Anna.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Norman L. (John) Boyd Sr. of Cape Girardeau and Howard Boyd of Pinebush, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a stepdaughter and two brothers.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. May 4 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness Church in Anna, with David Hammer officiating. Internment of the ashes will be private.
