CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Norma Jean Stidham, 71, mother of The Hill Church of Rockview, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at her home.
She was born Dec. 1, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Smiley Sweet and Ora Hope. She married C.B. Stidham April 29, 1949.
She was a CPA at the Lutheran Home and Chaffee General Hospital several years before retiring.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Delmar "Butch" Stidham of Cape Girardeau, Tom Stidham of Chaffee, Robert Stidham of Whitewater; two granddaughters; three grandsons; three great-grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a sister and two brothers.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Alvie Surface, Rev. Gary Slinkard and Rev. Robert Dudley. Interment will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be sons Butch, Tom and Robert Stidham; and grandsons, Tommy, Erik and Jonathan Stidham.
