Norma Schrieber

Norma Ruth Schrieber, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, at the home of a son in Owasso, Okla.

She was born Oct. 8, 1935, in Potosi, Mo., daughter of Riley F. and Dorothy Ethel Sutton Wagganer. She and Clifford Schrieber were married July 14, 1951, in St. Louis. He died March 10, 1995.

She was a sales associate 30 years at Sears in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Town and Country Extension Club and VFW Auxiliary 3838.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Schrieber of Owasso, Don Schrieber of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a daughter, Sheryl Whorton of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home Wednesday from 9 a.m. to service time. A Beta Sigma Phi service will be held at 10:50.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Barry L. Pfanstiel officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
