Norma Hurt

Norma H. Hurt, 84, of St. Louis, formerly of Jackson, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at the home of a daughter in St. Louis. She was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Old Appleton, Mo., daughter of William P. and Martha R. Bodenschatz Bingenheimer. Hurt attended the former Apple Creek Valley Grade School in Old Appleton. She moved to St. Louis in 1942 and worked at the J.C. Penney warehouse and as a PBX operator at Hadley Dean Glass Co. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church...

Norma H. Hurt, 84, of St. Louis, formerly of Jackson, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at the home of a daughter in St. Louis.

She was born Feb. 5, 1920, in Old Appleton, Mo., daughter of William P. and Martha R. Bodenschatz Bingenheimer.

Hurt attended the former Apple Creek Valley Grade School in Old Appleton. She moved to St. Louis in 1942 and worked at the J.C. Penney warehouse and as a PBX operator at Hadley Dean Glass Co. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church.

She moved to Jackson in 1982 and became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She moved back to St. Louis in 1998.

Survivors include a daughter, Correne Schilling of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson after 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
