PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Norma Jean "Sis" Galloway, 75, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 18, 1929, at McBride, Mo., daughter of William J. and Mildred E. Dallas Wingerter. She and Earl J. Wood were married Oct. 2, 1951. He died Nov. 24, 1979. She and Howard Wade Galloway were married June 21, 1989. He died Aug. 19, 1992.
Galloway was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church at Brewer, Mo., VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include three brothers, Dale, Norman and Lester Wingerter of Perryville; four sisters, June Vinson of Frohna, Mo., Rose Mary Diekamp of O'Fallon, Mo., Edna Colin of Perryville, Joan Buchheit of St. Charles, Mo.; and a friend, Ralph Zoellner of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the Savior Church, with the Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating. Burial will be in Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Belgique, Mo.
