TAMMS, Ill. -- Norma Jean Foltz, 87, of Tamms passed away at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
Norma was born Dec. 14, 1932, in Roxana, Illinois, to the late Herman and Lela Carter Wiseman.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tamms. She served as church organist and pianist since 1948. She was a Girl Scout; and played Hawaii guitar on radio stations in Granite City, Illinois, during World War II. She was an office manager for the Illinois Department of Conservation; and worked at Hudson Warehouse in Cairo, Illinois.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother; and her husband, Robert "Bob" Lee Foltz, on June 15, 2012.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Foltz of Phoenix.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. July 6 at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. July 6 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Illinois. Those attending are asked to follow the social-distancing guidelines.
