SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Norma Pauline Eads and her son, Adam Wayne Eads, of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Jack Owens will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Norma, 38, and Adam, 4, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1997, in a fire at their home.
She was born July 15, 1959, at Chaffee, daughter of Norman and Mary Dodson Pulliam. She and Mike Eads were married in May 1989.
Norma was a member of New Life Gospel Center.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Toni Pulliam, Loretta and Amber Eads of Scott City; her parents of Scott City; a brother, Norman Pulliam Jr. of North Carolina; two sisters, Carol Eads of Jackson, Brenda Rhyne of Scott City; and a grandchild.
Adam was born Jan. 23, 1993, in Cape Girardeau, son of Mike and Norma Pulliam Eads.
He was a member of New Life Gospel Center.
Survivors include his father; a brother, Lee Eads of Scott City; three sisters, Toni Pulliam, Loretta and Amber Eads of Scott City; maternal grandparents, Norman and Mary Pulliam of Scott City; and paternal great-grandmother, Essie Smith of Piedmont.
