JONESBORO, Ill. -- Norbert A. Stadelbacher, 64, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 1996, at the home of a daughter in Anna. He was born April 7, 1932, in Cobden, son of Leo and Geraldine Treece Stadelbacher. Stadelbacher was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna. JONESBORO, Ill. -- Norbert A. Stadelbacher, 64, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 1996, at the home of a daughter in Anna.

He was born April 7, 1932, in Cobden, son of Leo and Geraldine Treece Stadelbacher.

Stadelbacher was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 in Anna. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include three sons, David and Alan Stadelbacher of Anna, Steve Stadelbacher of Jonesboro; three daughters, Norine Keller of Anna, Carla Stadelbacher and Andrea Wilson of Jonesboro; his mother of Cobden; three brothers, Robert and Charles Stadelbacher of Cobden, Earl Stadelbacher of Greenville, Miss.; a sister, Marjorie Stadelbacher of Cobden; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7:30.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3455.
