OAK RIDGE -- Norbert F. Elbrecht, 90, of Oak Ridge died Saturday, May 1, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 11, 1908, at Friedheim, son of William and Ernestine Vogt Elbrecht. He and Ruby Dambach were married Jan. 3, 1934.
Elbrecht was retired from the Cape Girardeau County Highway Department. He was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim.
He is survived by a son, Nelson Elbrecht of Jackson; two daughters, Laverne Ahrens and Shirley Myers, both of Oak Ridge; and a sister, Stella Cornehlsen of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Friedheim, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
