NORA RUEHLING

OLD APPLETON, Mo. -- Nora D. Ruehling, 89, of Old Appleton died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born May 12, 1911, at Old Appleton, daughter of Charles A. and Bertha I. Hoffman Bodenschatz. She and Leo H. Ruehling were married May 28, 1937. He died Jan. 24, 1974.

Ruehling was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Marvin Ruehling of Perryville, Mo.; a brother, Ervin Bodenschatz of Old Appleton; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a great-stepgranddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 6:30-8:15 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
