CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Nona Mae Woods, 73, of Chaffee, formerly of Bell City, Mo., died Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born April 13, 1930, in Bell City, daughter of Josh and Bertha Mayberry Kneezle. She and Evert Woods were married Oct. 30, 1946. He died March 19, 1968.
She was a retired machine operator for the Florsheim Shoe Company. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Chaffee VFW Post 3127.
Survivors include two sons, Earl Woods of Morley, Mo., and Gary Woods of South Carolina; a daughter, Pam Goehman of Delta, Mo.; four sisters, Inis Stamper of Bell City, Fern Long of Cape Girardeau, Barbara Lewis of Puxico, Mo., and Imogene Kneezle of Bloomfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Dan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
