SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Nola C. Sanders of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. William Dickey will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Sanders, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1993, at Ratliff Care Center.
She was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Ava, Ill., daughter of Howard B. and Nettie A. Raye Cheatham. She and Irvin F. "Sandy" Sanders were married Nov. 18, 1931. He died Feb. 23, 1988.
Sanders had been a bookkeeper at Southeast Savings and Loan. She was a member of Illmo Methodist Church, past member of St. Mark OES Chapter 167, and Ladies Auxiliary of United Transportation Union.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Sanders of Scott City; two daughters, Barbara Lewis of St. Louis, Billie Waddle of Delta; a brother, Howard Cheatham of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
