NOEL ROBINSON

ORAN -- Noel "Duke" Robinson, 76, of Oran, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 31, 1915, in Anna, Ill., son of Albert Jackson and Anna Elizabeth Smith Robinson. He and Mary Joanna Soehlig were married June 18, 1939. She died June 11, 1989...

ORAN -- Noel "Duke" Robinson, 76, of Oran, died Monday, Nov. 25, 1991, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 31, 1915, in Anna, Ill., son of Albert Jackson and Anna Elizabeth Smith Robinson. He and Mary Joanna Soehlig were married June 18, 1939. She died June 11, 1989.

Robinson was a retired carpenter. He was a member of First Baptist Church at Oran, and Morley Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include a son, James Robinson of St. Louis; a sister, Elva Ziegler of Clarksville, and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by eight brothers and five sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Jack Bishop will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. today.
