SIKESTON, Mo. -- Noah Lee Ergle, 77, of Sikeston died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 9, 1923, at Fall City, Ala., son of Arthur E. and Savanna Horton Ergle. He and Lueanna Cagle were married July 6, 1941, in Double Springs, Ala.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife of Sikeston; three sons, Wayne Ergle of Parma, Mo., James Ergle of Bernie, Mo., and Rexell Ergle of Catron, Mo.; two daughters, Annie Daniels of Sikeston and Maxine Holland of Dexter, Mo.; a brother, James R. Ergle of Mountain View, Ark.; six sisters, Gertrude McCoy, Sharlett Tidwell and Juanita Ergle, all of Matthews, Mo., Ruby Lucero of Ottawa, Kan., Pauline Matheny of Canalou, Mo., and Edith Grainger of Sikeston; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, a grandson and a granddaughter.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Cecil Adams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
