Noah Franklin "Frank" Eaton, 70, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at his home in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 23, 1933, in Hahn, Mo., son of Noah and Pearl Varvel Eaton. He and Lorraine Bertrand were married Feb. 1, 1953, in Piggott, Ark. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past February...

Noah Franklin "Frank" Eaton, 70, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at his home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 23, 1933, in Hahn, Mo., son of Noah and Pearl Varvel Eaton. He and Lorraine Bertrand were married Feb. 1, 1953, in Piggott, Ark. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past February.

Frank was a 1951 graduate of Central High School in Cape Girar-deau.

He was in-ducted into the U.S. Navy on July 6, 1951, and served as an aircraft mechanic. He was honorably discharged July 1, 1955.

He worked 39 1/2 years with Pipefitters Union 562, retiring March 24, 1995. He was a foreman, plumbing instructor and master plumber.

He was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Cathedral Parish, a member of K.C. Council 1111 and VFW Post 3838, all in Cape Girardeau.

Loving survivors include his wife of Cape Girardeau; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and James Mick of Vienna, Ill., Kristi and George Honeywell of Pierre, S.D.; a sister, Helen Kass of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Brian Warren and wife Susan, Sarah Warren, Cody Lee and Katy Honeywell; three stepgrandchildren, Jamie, Daniel, and Zach Mick; and a great-grandson, Mason Warren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and one sister.

Friends may call Monday, Dec. 1, between 4-8 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral Mass is Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with graveside rites by VFW 3838 and Missouri Military Honors.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Southeast Hospice.
