NINA O. CAPPS

MARBLE HILL -- Nina O. Capps, 91, of Marble Hill, died Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 27, 1904, in Marble Hill, daughter of Oliver A. and Mollie Beach Hahn. She and Otis Capps were married June 30, 1923. He died Nov. 9, 1987.

Capps was a lifelong resident of Marble Hill. She was a charter member of First United Methodist Church and member of Victory Chapter 430 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include five nieces, Anna Livers of Jackson, Margie Howard and Betty Pully of Flint, Mich., Dorothy Kemper of Chicago, Judy Meyer of Swartz Creek, Mich.; three nephews, Melvin Bair of Flint, Dallas Hahn of Clio, Mich., and John Hahn of Grand Blanc, Mich.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
