TAMMS, Ill. -- Nicholas Andrew Downs, 16, of Salem, Ill., died Thursday, June 16, 2011. He was born Aug. 24, 1994, in Urbana, Ill., to Wayne and Lisa Hunter Downs. TAMMS, Ill. -- Nicholas Andrew Downs, 16, of Salem, Ill., died Thursday, June 16, 2011.

He was born Aug. 24, 1994, in Urbana, Ill., to Wayne and Lisa Hunter Downs.

Survivors include two sisters, Melissa and Emily Downs of Salem; grandparents, Mary Downs of Cairo, Ill., Howard and Charlene Hunter Powles of Tamms, Jewell Hunter of Jonesboro, Ill.; other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
