HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Neva Dell Anderson, 78, of Hannibal died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hannibal. Pastor Richard Ingmire will officiate.

The James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anderson was born Dec. 1, 1926, in Matthews, Mo., to William A. and Della Reisenbiechler Gemeinhardt.

She married Donald "Diz" Anderson April 3, 1948, in Sikeston, Mo. He preceded her in death March 25, 1998.

Survivors include three daughters, Karen Lynch (Michael) of Dallas; Cindy Wenneker (Ed) of Hannibal, Andrea Anderson of Kirkwood, Mo.; a son, Scott Anderson of Hannibal; a brother, Armand Gemeinhardt of Matthews; six grandchildren, Tricia Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Zachary Wenneker, Ross Wenneker and Whitney Lynch; and a great-grandchild, Chloe Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She served as a church secretary for several years and sang in the choir. Neva Dell was a member of the Hannibal Arts Council, past member of the Hannibal Library Board and a member of the Women's Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading and music. She also enjoyed interior decorating for friends and family. Mrs. Anderson loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in care of James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
