NEOMI QUINTON

Funeral for Neomi Marguerite Quinton of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Follis-Sonderman Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Gene Gainer will officiate, with burial in Christian Cemetery at Fredericktown.

Quinton, 80, died Monday, March 15, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 27, 1918, at Fredericktown, daughter of Joseph Amel and Ruby Turnbeau Henderson. She and Robert Quinton were married Jan. 4, 1936. He preceded her in death.

Quinton was a member of Solid Rock Fellowship Church.

Survivors include a son, Robert Quinton of Bonne Terre; six daughters, Wilma Whitworth of Fredericktown, Thelma Whitworth and Linda Copeland of Cape Girardeau, Alma Kennedy and Glenda Quinton of Farmington, Brenda Benton of Desloge; a brother, Joseph Henderson of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, MaDonna Sigman of Rosemont, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.
