NEMA INEZ BIGGERSTAFF

DEXTER -- Nema Inez Biggerstaff, 90, of Bloomfield died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Beverly Heathcare.

She was born Nov. 13, 1909, at Bloomfield, daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth Pruitt Penigar. She and John Wesley Biggerstaff were married April 6, 1927 in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1986.

Biggerstaff had lived in Morehouse from 1943 until returning to Bloomfield in 1991. She was a member of the Walker Church near Bloomfield.

Survivors include a son, Charles Biggerstaff of Wappapello; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Cooper and the Rev. Rudy Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
