Nelson Pender, 69, of Old Monroe, Mo., died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Sept. 7, 1931, at Vulcan, Mo., son of John Ray and Pearl Pender.
Pender had worked as a machinist and was a member of Progressive Lodge 411 AMAW.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Linda Brown of Lake Ozark, Mo., Donna Stone of Foley, Mo., Pat Ehmler of St. Charles, Mo., Joyce Duvall of Winfield Mo., Janette Cashen of St. Charles; two sisters; three brothers; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
